This 2-day class will teach a variety of ways to make hatbands, fabric flowers and stamens, feather manipulation and how to mount them, selecting and purchasing silk flowers and how to arrange, and many other techniques. This two-day class is also suitable for fashion accessories such as fashion dress pins and Headband embellishments. This class fee is only for the instruction and embellishment supplies. Participants will need to bring 3 hats to embellish or I can supply them for you for an extra supply fee. If you bring the hats the additional fee for supplies will only be $25 dollars but if I have to supply the hats the supply fee will be $100. I suggest purchasing pre-blocked straw hat bases ( 20 to 25 dollars each) or going to Goodwill or department store buying cheap hats and removing the trim that is on them. This can save a lot of money for you. There are lodging accommodations on the premises. If you need to stay the charge for lodging is $60 dollars a night. ( Example: Staying 3 nights, class teaching fee, and I furnish all supplies the total cost is $530 each participant ) Lunch and snacks are provided for the class days.
